Biography.

Ebony Williams is a writer, director, producer, and actress based in Los Angeles, California.

She received her bachelor of arts in television broadcasting from the University of La Verne and a master's of science in business management and leadership from Pepperdine University's Graziadio Business School. While in school she won over 5 awards for her student-produced work.

While a student at the University of La Verne, she was an accomplished student-athlete on the Track & Field team. As a freshman, she was the conference champion in the 100m and 4x100m. As a sophomore, she was named the female sprint captain of the team and went on to Division III Nationals. She was also campus President of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, INC, and Sigma Rho chapter Treasurer. As a student, she was also a Resident Assistant and a ULV founders scholarship recipient.

At Pepperdine’s Graziadio Business School, she was a student ambassador and was accepted to the Golden Key International Honours Society.

She began her professional career as an intern on the long-running soap opera The Young and The Restless before becoming indie film director Adam Rifkins' assistant on his film The Director's Cut (2016) starring Penn Jillette, Missi Pyle, and Harry Hamlin. Following that production, she acted in a web series called The Green Room and then landed a role in Justice With Judge Mablean.

As an employee of Paramount Pictures for over six years, she began as a studio page in the prestigious Paramount Page Program. After completing the program, She became the assistant to legendary Casting Director Joseph Middleton. Where she gained a wealth of knowledge while assisting him, the Vice President, Monika Mikkelsen, and Director, Janelle Scuderi. She received her first credit for the film Love & Monsters (2020). With the aspiration of becoming a writer, director, and producer, her experience in casting led to a career move into motion picture development, where she assisted film producer and studio executive, Ali Bell, in Paramount Players. Before the pandemic, she transitioned to Paramount Animation and worked for esteemed studio executive, Nate Hopper. In Spring 2021, she was accepted into ViacomCBS' Professionals Playbook Management Training Program. She was the Paramount Animation department mentor for internship participants and spoke several times at the Paramount Page Program Alumni Speaker Series. When Paramount Animation merged with Nickelodeon Animation Features, she worked under academy award nominated producer Ramsey Naito.

Most recently, she was accepted into the Women Wednesday Executive Mentorship Program 2023.
